OUR Mission
At Wildflowers Pediatric Therapy, we provide neurodiversity affirming speech and feeding services to help children blossom.

Meet The Founder
Erin West, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Erin graduated from the University of South Florida in 2009. She completed her clinical fellowship year at Easter Seals Southwest Florida, where she spent the early part of her career treating in pediatric outpatient, elementary school, and adult day program settings.
Furthering her professional experience, Erin transitioned to hospital-based outpatient pediatrics and a multi-disciplinary team. Here, she learned the value of sensory-informed approaches, parent coaching, play-based therapy, and feeding therapy. Erin completed training in Beckman Oral Motor therapy, AEIOU feeding approach, and SOFFI feeding approach, and began seeing infants as part of her hospital’s NICU follow-up clinic.
On a quest to understand and better serve her neurodiverse patients, Erin sought out advanced education in gestalt language processing and childhood apraxia of speech. This understanding improved her therapy outcomes with children with complex communication difficulties. Additionally, Erin saw a need for improved augmentative alternative communication (AAC) access for the therapists and patients around her. She established a high-tech AAC program that is used across the pediatric outpatient department today.
Wildflowers Pediatric Therapy was born from this passion and desire to better serve children and families with unique needs across Manatee County.
